CHICAGO: Air India’s operations are absolutely normal and there are no disruptions across its network, according to a release from the Air India Office in Chicago
As a short term measure, Air India has rescheduled / combined / curtailed some of its flights in view of the low demand / lean season from June to September. However, Air India has ensured connectivity with all the stations / destinations as per its schedule across the network.
The revised schedule has been finalized keeping in view commercial / business decisions as well as demand and convenience of passengers. “Air India has not grounded any of its flights and we are looking forward to serving our passengers across the network” said a spokesperson while reiterating that the required amount of fuel (ATF) was being made available by the Oil Marketing Companies as mutually agreed upon.
Air India’s daily operations span over 490 flights across its global network of 64 domestic and 33 international destinations including Chicago.
