For a while now, rumor mills have been buzzing overtime about Anurag Kashyap’s hush-hush plans to direct a Hollywood film. Now, Mirror has learnt that the film in question is a dark crime thriller.
Says a source close to the development, “Anurag will only focus on this film in mid-June, after the release of his period thriller Bombay Velvet. The international project will kickstart in July and is a completely western production which will be shot entirely abroad.” When contacted, Anurag, was unwilling to discuss details, “The international project is currently at a preliminary stage. It will not begin till the final print of Bombay Velvet is delivered. That’s when we will start pre-production on it. It is a big project and there is a lot of development happening on it internationally. We cannot reveal what is going on. As and when the time is right, we will speak about it.
