CHICAGO: International Indian Icon (3iii) has been one up presenting the first of its kind platform to Indians overseas to showcase their talents.
In a recent digitalized grand finale event held on Saturday December 2 at the Meadows Club, 3iii 2017 concluded its Season-I in the presence of world renowned grandmasters, judges, celebrities, and a live audience from across the globe.The winners were crowned amidst a live audience in Chicago and awarded the title of the first International Indian Icons in their respective categories Singing, Dancing, Instruments.
Shalabh Kumar of Republican Hindu Coalition graced the event as the Chief Guest. Other Guests of Honor were Deepak Kant Vyas of Redberri and Anil Loomba of Home Mortgage Solutions.
Grand Master (Singing and Instruments) Bappi Lahiri, Grand Master (Dance) Meenakshi Seshadri along with Gioconda Vessichelli (Singing and Instruments) Anuradha Palakurthi (Singing) and Prachi Jaitly (Dance) were the judges for the contest.
3iii has been conceptualized and executed under the production of Gee Vision Inc and its CEO Sharan Walia. With the well-renowned grand masters and judges guiding the aspiring contestants, the entire season was a tremendous success.

Singing:

The participants contesting for the International Indian Icon 2017 title raised the bar with their immaculate technique and talent. While the first season was focused on America and Canada, the coming seasons will try out new countries, new categories, and new talent. The online and on-site talent show has won millions of hearts across the globe.
3iii 2017 (Season-I) was planned, organized and executed by Gee Vision Inc. in association with Zee TV. The immense efforts put together by entire 3ii Core Team (Sharan Walia, Phani Krishna, Naveen Karna, Prachi Jaitly, Naresh Shastri, event partners and state partners across US) paid off. “I thank everybody with the bottom of my heart. 3iii 2018 Season II dates and details will be announced shortly”, said Sharan Walia.
Dance groups from Chicago and nearby states performed during half time to show their support for all the contestants. Some of the performers were Anjali Phadke & Group, Mihika & Group, and Nishika Dubey. The grand sponsor of the event was Brij Sharma of Power Volt.
