Well, it is none other than the megastar himself, the life of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchcan!
The 71-year-old actor hit the milestone of 10 million followers on the micro-blogging site, leaving stars like Shahrukh Khan (8.74 million), Aamir Khan (8.13 million), Salman Khan (7.99 million) and Priyanka Chopra (6.8million) behind.
Big B has acted in more than 200 films in his career and has lent his voice to many others. He made his Hollywood debut with the film called ‘The Great Gatsby’. He was the first Indian actor whose wax model was created at Madame Tussauds. In 2012, he was honored by the Indian Government when he was made to carry the Olympic flame in London. He also hosts the hugely popular TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
Bachchan is social media-savvy and is pretty active on Facebook and Twitter. The star joined Twitter in May 2010.
He keeps his fans entertained by quite frequently sharing moments from his professional and personal life, tweeting about issues of international and national importance and even replying to his fans directly on Twitter.
“10 MILLION !! ON TWITTER !! YEEAAAHH !! Thank you all that follow me…! Next target 20 !!,” an ecstatic Bachchan tweeted.
“The actor is known for his versatility on the platform [Twitter], and has kept his fans entertained by frequently Tweeting on moments of national and international importance, sharing moments from his personal and professional life in real life, and connecting with his fans personally by replying to them directly on Twitter through over 33,000 Tweets till now,” Twitter officials disclosed in a statement.
The famed actor was congratulated by many of his fans on the micro-blogging site.
“10 million worldwide Twitter Followers Love, admire and respect You Mr Amitabh Bachchan. We love You Sir,” tweeted Moses Sabir.
The actor has recently launched an initiative called #BachchanBol via which he shares fun and interesting facts with his followers every Wednesday.
