Nana Patekar is back with Ab Tak Chhappan 2, which also features Gul Panag, Ashutosh Rana, Vikram Gokhale, Mohan Agashe, Govind Namdev and Raj Zutshi. Directed by Aejaz Gulab, the film progresses from where the first installment ended 11 years ago.
Says Aejaz, “Many times, filmmakers make sequels which have no connection with the previous film. While our script and treatment is different from its prequel, we’ve taken the story ahead from the premise of the original. For instance, the actor who plays Nana Patekar’s son is the same boy who played his son in the first film. Gul plays his daughter and carries the narrative forward.”
Aejaz also adds that he has tried to keep the interpersonal equations of the characters intact in the film, presented by Wave Cinemas Ponty Chadha.
