Free medical clinics at Vedanta Society

CHICAGO: Vivekanand Vedanta Society, a no profit body in Illinois, will be conducting free health clinic at its Homer Glenn facility in Chicagoland offering certain medical services at no cost to participants.

The clinic for July and August will be twice a month while that for September will be only once a month. Again in October and December there will be two dates for those who would like to use the services offered by the clinic. The free services include general health screening, blood pressure / sugar check, free medical consultation for certain medical problems, diagnostic guidance, advice about the line of treatment, dietary advice and guidance for referral besides preventive health care.

The Vedanta Society offers these services thru the voluntary help rendered by qualified medical practitioners and it is for the benefit of society at large and those visiting the facility. However, the Society is not liable or responsible in any way for the services or the advice offered.  Besides, the clinics would not be offering comprehensive medical care.
The clinics for the month of July will be on July 5 and 12. In August, it will be on August 2 and 16, in September it will be on 13. The dates for October are 4 and 18. In December, the clinics are slated on December 6 and 20.
