Money Dart set to expand Chicago operations

CHICAGO: Money Dart Global Services Inc, one of the fastest growing global companies concerned with money transfer, is now set to come to the heart of India Town in Chicago- Devon Avenue.

The company has already been operating in Chicagoland for the past two years with a facility in Naperville, a south side suburb of Chicago, and its move to come to Devon is in the wake of the management desire to cultivate members of Indian Pakistani community as well as other ethnic groups offering a relative easy access to its facility and services, according to Shanil Ganjoo Manager- Branch Operations and Customer Relations.
With headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Money Dart Global Services Inc., was registered in New York in 2000. It is an associate member of UAE Exchange, the globally renowned money transfer company, and a member of the NMC Group.

The company   organized a business meet last week at Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, a north side Chicago suburb, inviting Chicago business interests as well as prominent community members from Indian, Pakistani and Bangladesh communities to acquaint them the range of products and services offered by this globally expanding company.

This conference was attended by close to 150 guests and invitees encompassing   local financial businesses including pharmaceuticals, IT professionals, banks, and other local institutes. Prabhakar Patel, Manager Business Development Chicago, welcomed the guests.

Sumit Prabhakar, the Head of Business Development America, said the Devon Office will be bigger than the Naperville facility with 2000 sq of office area and would be operational in the next few weeks only.  Money Dart currently has 52 active agents in various suburbs of Chicago and is the third largest company in money remittance with almost 100 percent growth in Chicago since 2007.

The company has two direct branches with close to 100 retail agent locations in New Jersey and Illinois. It has made its presence felt in more than 35 States through its wide-network of partners with the corporate office located in New York. Plans are afoot to open four more branches in Florida, New York, California and Texas. Through these branches and agent network in USA, Moneydart Global Services Inc offers a bouquet of services to the customers including cash-to-cash, direct credit to bank account and home delivery of bank draft in select countries.

Y. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, COO Global Operations, said that the economic slowdown notwithstanding, the UAE Exchange has registered an astounding 45% growth in its income and 40% in its profit in 2008. Every day, more than 6,250 UAE Exchange personnel across the globe with 40 nationalities in countries including India, USA, Britain, Canada, Jordan, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and many other Asian countries, serve more than 100,000 customers striving to ensure customer delight".

The UAE Exchange Money Dart and Express Money Transfer has about 2000 locations in Pakistan. The NMC group of companies is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is one of the leading business conglomerates of the region with multifarious activities spread across the world.

According to Promoth Manghat, Vice President - Global Operations, said the UAE Exchange has already identified and initiated the process for commencing operations in as many as 30 new countries in the next five years.
