Members of NRI Press Club hosted a lunch reception for Consul OP Meena on Friday June 22 at Udupi Restaurant to show their appreciation for the services rendered by him to the Indian community in Midwest over the past three years
OP Meena is going to Ulan Bator as Ambassador next month but the NRI Press Club and Chicago community members will always cherish his meritorious services as a Consul here. He was easily approachable and was always ready to help solve problems faced by the community with regards to visa, passport or other consular services. His absence, said Surendra Ullal, one of the founding members, would always be felt by all.
He was presented with a memento by the NRI Press Club President Madhu Patel. Jagdish Khatwani, the owner of Udupi Restaurant, graciously entertained the club members.
