Post Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, Vivaan Shah will be seen in the film Mastan directed by debutant Rocky Khanna.
The film is set in the 1980s in Bombay in the golden period of bhaigiri and raw crime and will see Vivaan in a Bumbaiya bhaigiri avatar. Vivaan’s character, based on a real person, will be playing a college kid who rose to big heights in the Bombay underworld.
What’s interesting is that he got into this world, not due to financial reasons, but as he was a born bhai. Vivaan has been trying to persuade his father to play a role based on the Godfather of the Bombay underworld at that time, Karim Lala. Good news is that we last heard Vivaan say that he has got his dad to say a yes.
