GNA University bags award at Thailand meet

PHAGWARA: GNA University, Phagwara, bagged an award at the international PTC ATC meet 2019 organized by PTC University, USA, at Phuket in Thailand.

National and nternational members of authorized training partners from many corners of the world gathered to participate and to represent their contribution to the success of ATC program of PTC University, USA, a press statement said.

Faculty of Engineering, Design and Automation of GNA University, Phagwara, has been conferred with the award as the best university in North India for their outstanding learning systems.

V.K. Rattan, Vice- Chancellor and C.R. Tripathy, Dean of Faculty of Design and Innovation- CAD/CAM Department, received the award on behalf of the university.

During award ceremony, Stefan Helf, Worldwide head PTC University, USA, appreciated GNA University for engaging students in digital manufacturing system and rapid prototype technology as well as a part of CAD/CAM/CAE to meet future challenges of globalization according to the current market and also appreciated their efforts toward opting for new technologies like Internet of Things (IoT), Augmental Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

During the Summit, Kamal Batra, Director, PTC University’s Academic Program in India was also present.

Helf and Batra expressed their gratitude to S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Pro- Chancellor of GNA University and CEO of GNA Gears, for his consistent efforts to promote 21st century engineers.

“GNA University will become Asia’s largest technological hub in the near future for students to learn advanced technologies like Digital Manufacturing, IoT, AR and VR,” Helf said

He also thanked Vice-Chancellor Rattan for imparting quality education.
