SAN JOSE, CA: There was special New Year treat for over 1200 people as they crowded for Bollywood Glitz 2015-Ileana D’cruz (Live & Direct) special event at San Jose Tech Museum, 201 S market street San Jose.
It was organized by Instant Karma, Bolly Events U & Me Entertainments in association with Ravi Tax Services. The program on 31st December was a successful event in the Bay Area with 6 levels of entertainments, 3 massive dance floors (Bollywood headquarters, Telugu & Punjabi/Hip-Hop Lounge). Bollywood celebrity DJ Aks along with Bay area finest DJ Mirage, DJ Precaution, DJ Sneh, DJ Dindi welcomed the New Year with style, joy and happiness. Actress Ileana doubled their joy with her dance, photo session and midnight countdown. There was Live performance by Saregama superstar Zaheer Abbas and Nithya Bayya.
Ileana D’Cruz is an Indian film actress, who appears in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South for the 2006 Telugu film Devadasu. She has appeared in films like Pokiri (2006), Jalsa (2008), Kick (2009), and Julayi (2012), establishing herself as one of Telugu cinema leading actresses. D’Cruz made her Kollywood debut with Kedi and made a comeback in Shankar’s Nanban (2012).In 2012 she made her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu’s critically and commercially successful Barfi!, for which she received critical appreciation and the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Lavish Indian buffet feat and multi-cuisine food station was provided by Peacock Restaurants.
Artist Arvind Kotha (Guinness World Book Record Holder) with his wife Sarika presented a portrait Sketch to Ileana D’Cruz. She was very impressed with the sketch and appreciated it for the excellent work and said “my first gift in this year is awesome”.
San Jose Councilmember Ash Kalra and Saratoga Councilmember Rishi Kumar also actively participated in this event.
