The show started with the red carpet and cocktails and ended with a happening after party at the club. Sheer saris were draped like sarongs over swimwear and hand embroidered linen tunics were showcased for summer in ivory and black .The opulence of Indian fashion glowed in the fabrics as she primarily uses beautiful silks and brocades in shocking colors.
This is perhaps the first time that an Indian designer has been invited to showcase her talent.
Amongst the bevy of glamorous models was India Post’s very own Magda Marcella showcasing Rohini’s creations. An actress, model, filmmaker and journalist, Magda is also fluent in Polish which is a part of her ancestral heritage. All of 22 this young lady has a lot to look forward to.
The show ended with an after party till the wee hors of the morning.
