SAN FRANCISCO: While several community activists and members of FOG were busy putting in the preparations for the gala event on 15th August at the Centre for Performing Arts, a young boy Ronak Sharma was seriously watching what was going on.

When I asked him who he was, he told me that he is son of one of the volunteers. His interest is in robotics. When he grows up he wants to be an engineer working with Robots. When asked why Robots, he said, ” I would like to use them for community service like dealing with cleaning the environment etc.” His father bought him Lego Mindstorm EZ-3 last X-MAS.

As our conversation continued and I found out how a young boy of 9 years, student of 4th grade at a local school, can be so inspired with this FOG event. He also said he had been attending many meetings with his father at the local temple.

He spoke fluent Hindi and explained how he has been inspired by Dr Japra’s work with the community. He also mentioned that his father is a special person in the community because he is a member of JIC (Japra Inner Circle) and gets special privileges.
