RIVERSIDE: Jalaram Jayanti was celebrated in Riverside’s Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir for the second year in a row. The Mandir was beautifully decorated with tables filled with fresh flowers and pictures of Jalaram Bapa by Krita and Hitesh Patadia, who organized the program. Over 200 devotees enjoyed the bhajans by Paresh Shah.
During one song many bhaktas jumped up from their seats and began dancing. For the first time a raffle was held and a variety of lovely prizes were offered. For chhapan bhog 56 small dishes of assorted food were offered and served with the Maha Prasad after arati. Jalaram Jayanti is now a tradition in the Mandir and will be celebrated every year.
