Mr Shekar was on the terrace of a four storied building and watching his building getting engulfed by fire. People gathered below knowing that it will take at least 15 more minutes for the fire tenders to come and put off the fire, held a huge carpet and told him to jump.
“I can’t believe you rascals,” Mr Shekar screamed. “Don’t doubt us; believe us now and jump,” screamed the crowd assembled below.
“After my jumping you will move the carpet,” replied Mr Shekar.
“Since there is no other way, you must trust us and not doubt us,” answered the crowd assembled below.
“Yes, there is a way. Keep the carpet on the ground and I will jump,” replied Mr Shekar.
We are a victim of our doubts. Unhealthy doubts kill us. Learn to operate from trust and not from doubt. Let trust be the center of life circle and doubt be in the circumference.
The greatest mystery in life is not life but death. Likewise, the greatest mystery in life is how we trust doubt and doubt the trust. The greatest foolishness of life is we are against death and by that we miss the mystery of death. Instead of being against death see the mystery of death and try to understand it wisely.
In the same way don’t be against doubt. See the mystery of doubt and try to understand why doubt exists and not trust. Then, doubt will teach you and show you a pathway to trust. Learn to use your enemy to win him over.
Like how you brush your teeth every day, so too we should clean our mind often. Learn to come from belief and renounce doubt. An intelligent doubt is anchored in a positive belief. An unintelligent doubt has no foundation. Even in the corporate world, learn to believe that you can reach targets; learn to believe that the team can be motivated and learn to believe everyone will operate out of abundance and not scarcity. From that space, take the steps necessary to achieve your target. Remember, “Cans” create success and “Can’t” creates failure.
A wise executive is one who approaches life with deep trust and keeps doubts on the side. Such an approach will create many bridges to success. Learn to trust to be a winner in life and don’t doubt that.

Teacher, “Sorry Mary, I am helpless that is the lowest I can award to any student for the worst performance. Please trust me and don’t doubt me on that.”
