OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMILPITAS, CA: Lotus Indian Express, a restaurant that will add a little spice to Silicon Valley, had its grand opening on February 13 at Ranch Drive, Milpitas. The restaurant is based on the “Panda Express” style offering authentic and healthier Indian cuisine. Prashant says the outlet will have healthier food, which is freshly cooked every day. The food is packed with nutrients, low in sodium, less oil. He is trying to bring healthier lunch options such as oats dosa, oats upma, brown rice, whole grain entrees. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant will include a main dining room, with interiors combining traditional Indian features with modern style.
