PUNE: Akbar Travels, a leading Indian travel conglomerate, has partnered with Pune-based travel technology startup, Vervotech Solutions, to enhance its B2B, B2C and B2E hotel platform in markets across the globe.
Earlier this year, Vervotech Solutions, a travel technology company based out of Pune, launched a new edge technology platform , NEXUS, a single application program interface (API), to connect to all suppliers. Akbar Travels has already moved all its online hotel businesses across all markets to NEXUS.
“Akbar Travels has been planning for a CRS that gives access to hotel inventory from the property management systems to the distribution channels in real-time so that hotels are able to reach guests across channels as part of our distribution strategy.
