Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been roped in for the second installment of super-hit film, ‘Aankhen’. The couple would be joined by versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Amitabh Bachchan from the prequel has also been signed in for the sequel, ‘Aankhen 2’.
When director Anees Bazmee was probed, he said that ‘Aankhen 2’ cannot be made without the megastar. ‘Aankhen’ revolved around a bank robbery by three blind persons. It featured Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal in the lead.
If everything goes well then Katrina Kaif and Shahid will be seen sharing screen space for the first time.
