Deepika Padukone will be performing ‘ghoomar’, a Rajasthani dance style in the periodic drama ‘Padmavati’. Folk dancers from Rajasthan are being flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recreated the queen’s Water Palace from the Chittorgarh Fort within Mehboob Studio.
‘Padmavati’ will see Deepika Padukone enacting the role of Rani Padmavati while Ranveer Singh will be playing her obsessive lover Alauddin Khilji. Shahid Kapoor has been roped in to play Deepika’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.
Bhansali will unveil three different posters of the leading stars.
