Pat Patnaik
CERRITOS, CA: Pat Patnaik who until recently was the commissioner has now been appointed as the Chairman for the Economic Development Committee, City of Cerritos for a period of two years.
The Economic Development Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council on the needs of existing businesses and the availability of economic development opportunities and resources. The Commission is responsible for providing input on business retention, business expansion, business marketing issues and technology related issues. The City of Cerritos is a destination for many businesses in relocating from other cities due to the ease of doing business and obtaining the necessary permits and licenses without going through the typical bureaucracy.
Patnaik is a long time resident of the City of Cerritos is a business banker and a visiting professor is also involved in several community related programs. He feels that a vibrant city such as Cerritos has lots to offer and feels that he can add value.
