CHICAGO: The Chicago Community Organizers and Indian Associations’ leaders got together in Schaumburg on August 6 to discuss the final planning of Narendra Modi’s Grand Victory Celebration.

Naren Patel, President of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj-USA welcomed and thanked everyone for their support and harmony amongst the Indian community leaders. “People are so excited as they all respect and love PM Modi. Indian people have high hopes that his leadership, vision and experience can be put into action and our motherland India can reach the height of success and progress,” he said in his address

The event is scheduled for Sunday August 16 in Bartlett. Guests will arrive at 3 pm for Narendra Modi’s Life Exhibition. The decoration will be exceptional. The next thing will be statute of Narendra Modi which will be placed in the Photo-Booth so that families can take a picture and keep it as a memory of the day. The booths and Bazar will be another attraction and those coming to the event will have lots of choice of jewelry exhibition, Indian outfits and sarees. Besides, a number of organizations will display their information to reach out to a wider audience and promote their services.

Dinner will be served for people who are fasting for Janmashtami as well as regular food at 5:15 p.m. and the cultural program will begin sharp at 6:45 p.m. with Indian and American National Anthem.

The Consul General of India and Community leaders will light a lamp and then there will be cultural dance performances from various States of India.

The Dance India Dance winner Kamlesh Patel will entertain with his amazing talent and special art effects. There will be a special dance performance that includes all religions because Indians lives peacefully side by side and embrace and respect all religions. Toral Chaudhary from Kalashree Dance Academy will give a special Gujarati Garbo. A playback singer and a live band from India by Manpasand Entertainment will spice the program.

The program will continue until 10 pm and people can go to Temples for Janmashtami Mahotsav. The buses will be provided from Haveli and other Senior Centers. Naren Patel says people will be impressed with the exhibition and program and will talk about it for a long time. If anyone wishes to volunteer for providing transportation to seniors, please reach out to your friends, family and neighbors.
