MILPITAS, CA: The 25th international Sindhi Sammelan will be held in Hyatt Regency, Santa Clara from July 5 to July 8. Executive board members of International Sindhi Sammelan invited Bay Area’s prominent Sindhi residents and held a press conference at Swagat Milpitas on January 21 to discuss details about the program and promotional efforts to reach out to more world-wide Sindhis.
The 4-day international Sindhi Sammelan 2018 is being hosted by Sindhi Community of Northern California in Hyatt Regency Santa Clara right in the heart of high tech Silicon Valley.
The program starts on Thursday July 5, beginning with spiritual leader Dada Jashan’s 100th Birthday Celebration in the evening which includes performances by children, Sindhi bhajans and a light dinner.
The registration and welcome counters will open on Friday July 6 at noon in the main lobby of the Hyatt Regency. The program will start the ice breaker, aarti and Sindhi/Bollywood singing program in the evening by renowned Sindhi singers from India like Kaajal Chandiramani, Jatin Udasi and Drshika Advani in the grand ball room. Dinner will be served.
There will also be a parallel milennial’s program in other hotel room for youth which also includes DJ and dancing.
Saturday, July 7 event will start with Asa Ki Var early in the morning . There will be many parallel workshop and seminars throughout the day with Sindhi play, Sindhi movie, Sindhi fashion show with banquet style dinner followed by evening full of entertainment by Kaajal, Jatin and Drshika.
The final day Sunday July 8, will also start with early morning Asa Ki Var Bahirano, Chhejj, Aarti and of course yummy Sindhi brunch followed by passing over the baton to Sammelan 2019 Team.
