IT Project Manager by profession, Priya Gupta has won the title of Mrs. South Asia International 2015. Priya will represent South Asia at the Mrs. International 2015 pageant on July 24 and 25 at Jacksonville, Florida .
Priya, highlighting the significance of Mrs. International pageant, mentions, “The International Pageant system has been developed to promote today’s married women, their accomplishments, and commitment to family and marriage. Around the world women are finding this system to be the opportunity to work with their husband and family to become positive role models.
Talking about preparation, she says, “I took the title seriously from the time I enrolled myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the process I went through, revamped myself, I grew & I won the title.”
Since the title is based on family values and the platform to give back to society, Priya has been actively working on the platform of sexual and domestic abuse against women which bagged for her the prestigious title. Priya is very happy and is looking forward to use her title to help millions of women around the globe.
Strongly supported by her husband, family and in-laws, Priya finally accomplished her dream to compete in an International beauty pageant and make a difference in society.
Priya also competed in Gladrags Mrs. India 2008 and was crowned ‘Gladrags Mrs. India –Mrs. Beautiful Face – 2008’ in Mumbai sponsored by Botox. She also got crowned as Mrs. India Fremont International 2013 in Mrs. India International pageant held in Atlanta, GA. Though every crown is precious but Priya says the recent title is the most special as she will be representing Mrs. South Asia in Mrs. International pageant in July 2015.
Priya wanted to be a model and by winning the crowns in various pageants she has been keeping her dream alive. Priya has done a lot of print shoots including an 8-page catalog shoot for Botox in 2008 and ramp shows with well-known Indian designers such as Amita Bal with Bollywood celebrity Preity Zinta as a showstopper. Priya also was one of the judge in Miss India Florida 2014 in Tampa, FL with Preity Zinta as the celebrity judge.
