Rajasthan to make plans for eco-tourism

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed officials to work for wildlife protection and prepare plans for developing eco-tourism in the state.

During his inspection of a rehabilitation center at Nahargarh biological park, one of the five rehabilitation centers for tigers and lions in the country, Gehlot enquired about the facilities being provided to the animals there.

The chief minister said a concrete action plan was needed to develop eco-tourism in the state. He also asked concerned officials to take care of animals in the biological park and zoo.
