Shraddha Kapoor, who recently headed to Shillong for ‘Rock On 2’ shoot had to fly back to Mumbai due to severe eye infection. She developed an eye infection during the shoot and it got worse. She went to a local doctor in Meghalaya but condition deteriorated.
“When the film team took her to a local eye doctor in Shillong, it was found out that there was a scratch in the cornea of her eye, and that’s why she was feeling uncomfortable all along,” adds the insider.
“In fact, as soon as Shraddha landed at Mumbai airport, she didn’t go home. Instead, she headed straight to her eye doctor. She is doing better now and is expected to resume shoot in a few days,” adds the insider.
Shraddha confirms, “Yes, I developed a sudden redness and itching in my eye which later got extremely painful. Ritesh (Sidhwani) didn’t want me to take a risk and asked me to travel back (to Mumbai). I will join the team in a few days.”
