Rinku’s deep colors

097A8423-webDesigner Rinku Sobti unveiled her AW’14 collection at the fashion show. Her AW’14 collection is all about deep colors, pretty patterns around necklines created in macrame.

The Term Macrame is derived from a 13th Century Arabic weaving term. It means the art of tying knots into strings.
Macrame has been reinvented by incorporating it in a contemporary form. This collection is really all about textile art which has a handcrafted warmth.

The collection consists of collars, neck pieces, jackets created by using various forms of knots. The yarn used is Jersey. The embellished look dismisses the fact of macrame being boring. In fact the textural embellished elements lend an artful look to the A/W 2014 collection.
