SAN FRANCISCO, CA: On the crisp autumn afternoon of November 3rd an exuberant tremor ran through the 3400 participants arriving at San Francisco’s San Mateo Event Center in anticipation of what they had prepared for: the Inner Engineering Program with Sadhguru!
Unable to wait, nearly 600 had checked in early the evening before, with one excited elderly participant exclaiming, “I won’t be able to sleep tonight!”
Supported by over 600 dedicated volunteers, this was the largest Inner Engineering program thus far in North America. Many traveled from across the globe, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Sweden, Morocco, Singapore, Ireland, Japan, France and more for the rare opportunity to learn from Sadhguru in person.
Thunderous roars greeted Sadhguru as he stepped onto stage and declared, “We don’t know why you are here but we can make the best of the weekend,” and “If you don’t mess with yourself you will be ecstatic.” Explaining that although Hollywood likes to depict battles with aliens for survival, our actual problem is not a fight with galactic forces but a struggle against our own selves.
Sadhguru continued questioning how long it will take until we are willing to say 100% yes to life. “I know you are in the technology valley (Silicon Valley) but have you found a more sophisticated technology than this?” he proclaimed, referring to our own human system, which brought cheers from every corner of the hall.
On day two, Sadhguru offered the powerful initiation into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya. His grace and care for each person swept the hall while participants swayed with meditative bliss. As the program drew to a close, the participants’ hearts longed for more! This program marked the beginning of an inward journey through the transmission of the powerful process that has transformed the lives of millions worldwide over the last 35 years.
