CHICAGO: More then 300 members of Bhartiya Senior Citizens of Chicago (BSC) celebrated Ram Navami, Holi and Dhuleti on Monday March 23 at Rana Regan Community Center in Carol Stream, IL.
The program began with Ganesh Vandana. Vice President of BSC Parsotam Pandya welcomed members and their guests. He introduced popular singers Shaila Khedkar of Chicagoland and Mahesh Bhide of New York.
BSC Executive Member Madhubhai Patel and Kalyani Patel briefed all those gathered with relevance of festivals of Ram Navami and Holi. BSC President Haribhai Patel greeted all with good wishes for Ram Navami and Holi-Dhuleti. He then talked about the events and programs chalked out for the year 2015.
Executive member Pratima Shah and her team performed Ram Navami and Holi-Dhuleti drama. Shaila Khedkar and Mahesh Bhide sang Bollywood Holi songs for over two hours. All seniors enjoyed dancing with Holi songs. At the end of the program Vice President Parsotam Pandya presented flowers to all members whose birthdays and wedding anniversaries fell in the month of March.
