While some of our biggest stars have played a bad man in the past, be it Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar or Darr, Sanjay Dutt in Khalnayak or Agneepath, Saif Ali Khan in Omkara or Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2, what is interesting is that today, we have some of our sexiest and the most unconventional people playing villain, be it Vivek Oberoi in Krrish 3, Bipasha Basu in Raaz 3 or Shilpa Shukla in B.A. Pass.
This year, we will see one of India’s young heart-throbs Sidharth Malhotra play the dark guy in Ek Villain, the most suave Karan Johar playing villain in Bombay Velvet and even rockstar Yo Yo Honey Singh, who is playing the bad guy in The Xpose. Well, one thing seems certain, it’s not just sexy people, but it now seems to be sexy to turn ‘Villain’.
