SAN FRANCISCO: SF Global Movie Fest, an integral part of Festival of Globe (FOG), this year boasts of over three thousand movie entries from all over the world. It was a very tough decision for the eminent jurors to narrow the list down to fit into the eight-day window where the selected movies will be showcased to discerning viewers and judges from Aug 7th through Aug 14th.

This year FIA has expanded its network to bring you the Festival of Globe (FOG). Celebrated from Aug 7th to Aug 16th, it features SF Global Movie Fest, FOG Awards, Famous Mela (Fair), and Grand Parade.

To support the oppressed and show solidarity, this year our theme is Freedom for All Globally. This year’s net proceeds from FOG 2015 will go towards women’s issues.

The SF Global Movie Fest mission is to empower and integrate global cultures and communities through Film Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Folk Arts. FOG creates various platforms for deserving artists and honors celebrities who help us achieve the same. San Francisco Global Movie Fest features the best of world cinema with a gateway to Silicon Valley that fosters creative and technical talent.

We present the newest and best films from around the world, and we ensure that our audience learns something along the way – about other cultures, about the topic at hand, about the experience from the filmmakers themselves. By bringing the best of world cinema to Silicon Valley, San Francisco Global Movie Fest presents the region and the film industry with a singular platform that empowers creative talent in the most advanced technical hub amongst premier wealth creators.

The movie fest will feature short films, documentaries, feature films and music videos submitted by independent filmmakers from around the world. ‘Bhopal’ movie highlighting manmade disasters will be screened in the presence of Hollywood celebrities Martin Sheen, Kat Kramer and Kal Pen.
