Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy to perform for Sankara

14-webSAN JOSE, CA: Sankara Eye Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Silicon Valley, is organizing one of its biggest fundraisers in five cities across the United States. The talented trio of musicians Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy from the Indian movie industry will be performing live on April 29 in San Jose, April 30 in Seattle, WA, May 6 in Dallas, TX, May 7 in Austin, TX, and May 14 in Newark, NJ.

The concerts are special because they are going to pay tributes to legends, R.D Burman and S.D Burman, and Siddhartha Mahadevan, son of Shankar Mahadevan will be performing with them for the first time. It is going to be a beautiful confluence of the old and the new, of legends and of young stars.

As a Non- Profit, Sankara Eye Foundation has been around for more than 15 years and is working towards eradicating curable blindness in India. An impressive 80:20 free to paid patients ratio defines the working model of the organization. It is no mean feat to have successfully completed more than 1.4 million eye surgeries already.

The charity navigator has repeatedly given the organization top rating of four stars. Funds raised through these events are utilized towards construction of state of the art hospitals across various states in India, to conduct free eye camps in rural areas, free eye surgeries for the less fortunate, and to maintain these hospitals.

Join the cause and help them reach their goal of Vision 20/20 by the year 2020.
