Priyanka Chopra who is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ fainted in the middle of the shoot. She collapsed delivering a four-page-long monologue. The doctor was called on the set and he attended to Priyanka on the set. The actress opened her eyes after water was sprinkled on her face. The shooting was put on hold for six hours and it resumed only after Priyanka got little better.
A source from the set said, “Everyone present was very scared. Her face was sprinkled with water and thankfully she opened her eyes quickly.”
Priyanka is playing the role of Kashibai in the film. Added the source, “This particular scene, during which she fainted, took 10 retakes. Kabhi light barabar nahin thi, kabhi kisine sync sound disturb kar diya. Add to this the heavy lighting on the sets and the four-page long monologue. The process was very physically draining.”
Recently, Priyanka Chopra tweeted how tough is the character that she is playing in ‘Bajirao Mastani’. “Didn’t even realize how tired I was till I touched my bed.’Bajirao Mastani’ is so intense that I’m depleted! Kashi is one of my hardest parts!” she posted on her Twitter page.
