CHICAGO: Shreya Ghoshal’s recent ‘Live in Concert’ at Sears Centre Arena, Hoffman Estates, proved one more time that this popular Bollywood singer has not lost a bit of her charm or singing talent and is highly popular with her fans in this windy city.
The magnificent Sears Center Arena was packed with a phenomenal number of people – 7000 plus – attending this show. The Chicago show was organized by Sahil LA Tan team led by Patels – Babubhai, Bhavesh from Sahil and Nick Patel and Mayur from L.A. TAN. If this Shreya show is a pre-runner for a still more magnificent presentation – Slam – Sahil and LA Tan team are set to create history in show business in Midwest.
The concert started with Opening Dance of Surjan Chicago Fogana Junior Raas 2014. They are winner First place in Fogana 2014 held in Detroit. Shreya commenced with Sun Raha hai na tu and ended with Mere Dholna. With a twinkling smile and relaxed demeanor she took up listeners’ requests that reverberated through the packed hall. She sang a number of songs to the demand of the audience and tried to satisfy all with her sweet and melodious voice.
The orchestra accompanying Shreya did a wonderful job. Light effects and sound system was very well synchronized. Before ending the program, Shreya thanked the entire team of organizers calling organizers Bhavesh and Nick Patel of Sahil and L.A.Tan on stage.
