Regina Cassandra, best known for her films in Telugu and Tamil, has been roped in for Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the film has an ensemble cast featuring Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.
It is said that the makers wanted to cast a South Indian actress, and Regina was finally zeroed in on. While casting her, the makers were not aware of the kind of work Regina has done down South. Later, when they got to know about it, they were impressed.
Regina is also known for her performances in films like Managram and Jyo Achyutananda.
