NEW JERSEY: New Jersey community business members attended the August 24 Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AICC) evening networking night event which is held every month.
It was a truly enlightening evening. Dr Naveen Mehrotra, on behalf of the SKN, an organization with a mission to promote total wellness of the person and community through education, spoke and entertained questions regarding improving the health of South Asians, particularly those who have recently immigrated.
The keynote presentation, “Success without Stress” was delivered by Gautam Jain. This was an amazing opportunity for all in attendance to consider various concepts of Vedanta self-management. The principles of conquering stress through controlling the intellect were explained.
Jain stated, “When the mind wanders over the worries of the past and the anxieties of the future, the result will be lack of productivity”. The audience was encouraged to focus on link between productivity and success. The message was wholeheartedly embraced.
The AICC Board and members recognized Minesh Patel, owner of the Jewel of India for his support as host of the monthly networking events.
Chetan Wattamwar, Network Nite Chair along with other board members Vijay Singhal Michael Green, Ravi Goplan, Rajat Gupta, Rekha Sarathy, Jayesh Mehta, Rajeev Krishna, Elayne P. McClaine and Ilayas Quraishi coordinated the event.
