Shruti Haasan is one of those actresses who go the extra mile to make sure the character they play onscreen is as close to reality as possible. So when she got on board the trilingual fantasy film ‘Sangamithra’, it’s no surprise that she also signed up for classes in sword fighting. The actress plays a warrior princess in the film and has been taking lessons in the combat form from a professional trainer in London.
A source says, “Shruti has been training with an action choreographer in London. Her workshop started with basic movements and man oeuvres and now, she has progressed to learning the aspect of precision and physical agility. Her lessons also include mind mapping techniques that professional sword fighters are expected to know.”
