CHICAGO: More than 2000 devotees and guests attended Shree Umiya Mataji First Navaratri NOM Garba organized by Shree Umiya Dham Chicago Midwest (SUDCM) on Friday September 29, at Naperville Yard in Naperville Illinois.
Mataji Palki was beautifully decorated and Mataji Jyoti Rath was special attraction with its different shades of lightings. The program began with Deep Pragatya ceremony by Mafatbhai Patel, the Grand sponsor accompanied by SUDCM team and community leaders.
Everybody joined Maha Aarti.
Natubhai Thakkar and his team with Brijesh Parekh and Shobhna Sankar of Roshni Productions with their singing and music had everyone on their toes all night long. Every one enjoyed the Two Tali, Three Tali, Rasgarba, Sanedo and tasty food and snacks as well. Ladies did a bit of shopping at the booths.
SUDCM and its volunteer team did great job on reaching out to all participants and the community, organizing the event and managing the event. Lucky draw was planned and managed by Hemant and Sunil Patel. They collected over $1000.
All the ticket sales revenue will go to SUDCM.
