BEVERLY HILLS, CA: Gujarat, a growth engine of India, recently sent a delegation comprising high business leaders along with high ranking Government official to promote Vibrant Gujarat on the occasion of golden jubilee of the state.
Rajendra Vora, President of Jain Social Group hosted a dinner reception at Gaylord where more than 100 elite Gujaratis were invited from all over California. Mayor of Beverly Hills Jimmy Delshad, after seeing an excellent presentation by the delegation said he thought he was a Gujarati. He was fascinated with the growth of Vibrant Gujarat which brought in more than $385 billions. On behalf of the City of Beverly Hills, the Mayor honored the leader of delegation M.M. Srivastava, Finance Secretary of Govt. of Gujarat by presenting a proclamation.
Also on behalf of City of Los Angeles Council President Eric Garcetti and Rajendra Vora presented a proclamation to Mr. Srivastava.
Mr. Srivastava in turn presented them a souvenir of Gujarat and invited them for Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Jan 2011.
He emphasized that Gujaratis are entrepreneurs and with the vision of the Govt. of Gujarat , had made the State a power house which he witnessed and was lucky to be part of it.
Chandu Patel of NFIA welcomed the delegation and appealed to every one to take advantage of such opportunities. On behalf of the host, Govind Vaghasia thanked every one and the delegates of Gujarat for their well planned upcoming summit.
Vibrant Gujarat is a biennial Summit held by the Government of Gujarat in Gujarat, India. The event is aimed at bringing together business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders, policy and opinion makers. The summit serves as a perfect platform to understand and explore business opportunities in the State. The Summit has had resounding successes in the past attracting several companies from Asia and Europe to establish their presence in Gujarat.
The last four summits, being conducted biennially since 2003, have been a major success and have attracted investment proposals of over US$ 385 billion. On January 12-13, 2011 the immensely popular Vibrant Gujarat Summit is scheduled to take place at the Mahatma Mandir, in the State capital at Gandhinagar.
Vibrant Gujarat 2011- the 5th Summit aims to facilitate investment alliances for the participating countries. The biennial Summit will be the ideal platform to discuss and deliberate business opportunities in the new age world.
