Yami Gautam considers herself lucky to have got the opportunity to work with some of the young, talented heroes of the industry.
The actress shares screen space with Varun Dhawan in Badlapur. The fresh pairing has grabbed eyeballs. And their warm equation goes beyond reel life. During their extensive promotional tour across cities, the two bonded over their common interests —retro music and old Bollywood films. Says Yami, “Varun’s energy and passion for cinema is infectious. Despite coming from a film family, he doesn’t take his stardom for granted.”
The actress also teamed up with Sidharth to endorse an ice cream brand. Initially, the duo was to shoot only for a single commercial. However, their playful chemistry was liked so much by the audience that an entire series of romantic commercials was shot with them.
She says, “He is very calm and shoots with him are easy-going.” Of course, Ayushmann Khurrana holds a special place in her heart — the two had made their debut together with Vicky Donor. “It’s always special when you work with someone on your first project. He is a multitalented guy,” she adds.
