Zakir Khan leaves Bay Area in splits

MILPITAS, CA: June 10th, India Community Center in Milpitas was packed with young crowd assembled to watch Zakir Khan perform his comedy show. A testament to Khan’s popularity and his ability to share stories relevant to today’s youth, the show was sold out two weeks prior to the date of performance.
Coming from a typical Indian family and studying in an all boys’ school, Zakir Khan was able to bring out real growing pains, dreams, and adolescent pranks that youth play. His almost two hour show was filled with personal and relatable anecdotes and had auditorium reverberating with laughter. His uncanny depiction of Facebook dynamics and how boys handle their passage through high school was very realistic.
Zakir Khan’s ability to relate with youth has catapulted him to one of well known comedians who gained more popularity on social media and completed his two million subscribers on YouTube due to his standup comic with Amazon Prime’s ‘Haq Se Single’. Zakir Khan is also a writer, presenter, actor who won the title of India’s Best Stand Up Comedian competition held by Comedy Central in 2012.
He is on a US comedy show tour and has yet another show on July 6 in Bay area. This show was organized by Meg David of “As U Like It”. She has focused on bringing comedy shows to Bay Area and has managed to bring amazing three shows in past two months.
