CHICAGO: Air India Chicago office invited its leading consolidators for dinner and celebration on the evening of Friday September 19 at Holiday Inn Skokie to congratulate Air India’s Midwest Manager Rishikant Singh on his promotion assignment as Regional Manager Americas and to welcome New Managers, Nukul Chand and Rajeev Batish to Chicago.

While Nukul Chand is taking over as Manager Midwest at Air India Chicago City office, Rajeev Batish is joining from Delhi as Chicago Airport Manager.

Air India Chicago office and airport handling team members joined the celebration dinner along with travel agents. Katherine Thorat, AI Sales Manager welcomed the guests and emceed the event. The heads of Air India consolidator travel agents were invited for the event. Seen among the guests were Umesh Patel from Sky Bird Travel, Birju Bhagat of Krisbi Travel, Varsha Ben of Air Tours, Siddiqui of Evia Travel, Deepak of Nataraj Travel, Rizwan of RK Travel, Asghar of Aero Travel, Sunita of All Airlines agency and many others.

Rishikant joined Air India Chicago office in July 2012 and earned a social repute in the Indian community within a short span of time. He was given additional charge of Canada this year and now he is promoted as the Regional Manager Americas for Air India’s New York headquarters. In a brief speech to agents, Rishikant thanked all and shared his wonderful Chicago working experience. He introduced new Managers Nakul Chand and Rajeev Batish along with Chicago city office and airport handling staff members. He invited both Nukul and Batish to join him on the podium and shared their thoughts.

Nakul Chand said that he flew to Chicago first time the same morning and it was wonderful joining a reception in the evening. He also shared his working experience at Mumbai, Gujarat, Australia and other Air India locations prior to coming to Chicago. Rajeev Batish also thanked the agents for joining the reception.
