Ambedkar Sena takes out ‘Save Constitution’ bike rally

PHAGWARA: A large number of activists of Punjab Ambedkar Sena Mool Nivasi April 3 took out a ‘Save Constitution’ motorcycle rally.
Named ‘Samvidhan Bachao Sankalp’ motorcycle rally, it was led by Sena’s state President Harbhajan Suman. It started from Dr BR Ambedkar Park in local Hargobindnagar and was flagged off by noted Ambedarkite and litterateur Sohan Sehjal.

Bikers sported T-shirts having pictures of Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of Indian constitution. The Sena’s blue-coloured flags were either fixed on bikes or held aloft by participants.
Punjab Ambedkar Sena Mool Nivasi President Harbhajan Suman said the rally’s objective was to spread Ambedkar’s message of amity and harmony, besides strengthening unity of the deprived and disadvantaged sections of society, i.e.,‘Bahujan Samaj’, and pledging to safeguard the Constitution.
Suman declared that the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar will be celebrated with fervor and devotion.
