CHICAGO: The Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party (OFBJP) Chicago chapter organized a meet & greet program for BJP West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh and BJP West Bengal Karyakarta Somnath Chatterjee on Thursday September 15 at Gayatri Temple, Chicago.

Program began with Deep Prajavlan and Vedic shlokas were recited by OFBJP coordinator Rohit Joshi. OFBJP National Gen Secretary Amar Upadhyay welcomed Shree Dilip Gosh, Somnath Chatterjee and all OFBJP, HSS, and VHPA karyakartas and appreciated work of OFBJP Chicago Youth team specifically chapter coordinators, including the Youth Convener Nirav Patel and Amitabh Mittal.

Amar Upadhyay presented OFBJP history, ideology, and OFBJP belief in the core values of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in serving India’s cause. After giving all OFBJP chapters overview he appealed to join OFBJP to support India cause.

Amar introduced BJP West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh and BJP West Bengal karyakarta Somnath Chatterjee.

In his address, Dilip said that the situation in West Bengal was grossly unsatisfactory under the rule of Mamta Banerji as the people at large have to suffer rapes, murders and gangsterism while the police were getting indifferent to the plight of the people and victims alike.

It is not uncommon for anti national elements to shout “Pakistan Zindabad” and state Government is not taking any action against anti India groups. State government totally ignores anti-India activities by anti-India group because they need their votes.

He described that during last Vijyadashmi celebration, West Bengal government stopped Dussehra procession due to Moharram festival occurring the same day. He provided various incidents of anti-India activities in West Bengal and appealed everyone to join OFBJP in order to support BJP work in West Bengal so that BJP can get majority in next election.

There was a question answer session at the end. The program was attended by 50+ persons from various organizations.
