Hundreds turned out to join the Midwest Asian Heritage Month celebration on May 22 in Chicago’s Chinatown to watch performances, receive a vaccination, and to learn more about staying healthy.
Also honored at the event were those who worked hard to keep everyone healthy during the time of the pandemic. From individuals who donated PPE in a time of need, to those who pushed the importance of Covid in the government arena, were honored as heroes.
