After being lauded for her intense performance in Ram Madhvani’s ‘Neerja’, the actress wants to dabble in comedy. “I might not take up another drama as my next film, it might be a comedy,” she’s reported to have said. “I am here to become better at my craft. Sometimes you need to work with different people to do that. In ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ (2013), even though it was a 20-minute role, it made me realize that it was something different. My work should make me better on a personal level, professional success will follow,” she revealed.
Sonam, however, is more keen to evolve as a person than just be focused on her career. “Movies and acting is just a job. It’s a passion, but I can’t let it rule me. That will be unhealthy,” she said.
And what is she keeping herself busy with nowadays? “I like travelling. I am getting into fitness. I am working on myself and my body. I am working at being a good human being. It’s important to evolve and become a better artist as well as a good person,” she said.
