LOS ANGELES: On Saturday August 27, Royce Hall at UCLA rocked with excitement as one of India’s most well-known rock bands, Euphoria, captivated a young, fresh Los Angeles audience. This Indian rock band has something to offer that is more or less unseen in music today, as they combine rock elements from the guitar, bass, and drums with traditional Indian elements such as the tabla and dholak.
The show was presented as a joint effort by India’s leading Online Social TV,, and the Amrapali Group of India. Euphoria is currently promoting its upcoming album “Item” and is holding concerts all across the United States on “The Item Tour”, hitting hot spots such as San Jose, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, New Jersey, Boston, and Seattle. The nine member band will then go on to Canada.
The night began as the band introduced themselves and opened the night with a few of their most recognized songs, which were enjoyed by a mild and seated crowd. By the time two songs had passed, the energy and momentum produced on stage had traveled through the crowd and caused those in attendance to rise to their feet and rock to the music stage front. It was only a matter of time before it was realized that this concert needed to be experienced by dancing and cheering alongside the front of the stage.
The audience actively joined in when the band played some of their biggest hits, such as “Dhoom Pichak Dhoom”, “Maaeri,” “Tum”, and more. For the first time on stage, Euphoria also exposed some songs from their new album, Item, which excited the crowd for its release.
Euphoria’s raw energy and vigor had endured throughout the night, and left crowds calling out, “Don’t go!,” and “One more hour!” When the night came to an end, lead singer Dr. Palash Sen, expressed that these concerts are “not about having lots of people, but about having the right people!”

It’s a lovely book. It feels energetically clear and light. It’s easy to read, dip in and out and most importantly it offers information without fluff! Blessings on this project.
