FIA unanimously condemns killing US service members

CHICAGO: The Federation of Indian Associations in Chicago (FIA-Chicago) held a Candlelight Vigil to honor 13 US service members who were martyred during the terrorist attack in Afghanistan.

Everybody with one voice said  –  “ Enough is enough! Candlelight vigils are not enough to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives. It is time for the world to understand the root cause and respond to the culprits in the language they understand.”

Unless the world community stands united and voices its condemnation followed by concrete punitive actions, such incidents would continue. The world needs to acknowledge that hatred and violence are being poured systematically into young minds. It must be stopped, all those attending agreed.
