Former President Donald Trump celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights on stage at his South Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, at a Diwali event coordinated by the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC). I must say, “What an amazing memorable event, I was fortunate enough to be a part of this event. Thank you again to Founding Chairman Shalabh ‘Shalli’ Kumar and RHC members for having me and a huge congratulations, too, for pulling off such a beautiful event!
It was indeed my pleasure to be with all the incredible executives that were a part of this special night, and my heartfelt best wishes to all Indian American community leaders serving the Indian American community through various programs, services, and advocacy for people of all ages and life stages.”
183 RHC executives from across the USA were present at the event. In his speech, the former President of the United States praised Shalli Kumar, Vikram Kumar, Haribhai Patel, and Satish Vemana for organizing this great event of celebrating Diwali in his home in Mar-a-Lago, FL. He acknowledged that but for RHC’s conversion of 400,000 votes in the battleground states in 2016, he would not have won the Presidency.
He said he would make the strongest recommendation to have Shalli Kumar appointed as Chairman of Hindu Coalitions of RNC, NRCC, and NSRC and if he decided to run for President in 2024, Shalli Kumar would be the Head of his Hindu Coalition. He acknowledged the depth of talent in the RHC Executive Body and promised that if re-elected, many of these members of RHC would serve in his administration and that he would appoint Shalli Kumar to be the US Ambassador to India. He promised to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of Hindu Holocaust Memorial and invite Prime Minister Modi to join.
He added that he would work hard to prevent the sale of any military hardware to Pakistan including any F16s and promised sustained tariffs on Chinese imports. He added that he would write a forward for Shalli Kumar’s upcoming book “Chinese Colonization of America 2049 and the Only man who can Stop it.” He agreed to champion the cause of saving DALCA kids from deportation and support legislation to cut the Green Card backlog. He declared once again that he loves Hindus and India. Finally, President Trump said, “Shalli and Trump Sabse Acche Dost And Bharat and America Sabse Acche Dost.”He also declared PM Modi to be a great friend.
This correspondent adds, “Immigration issues are very important to tackle in our country, a specific bipartisan effort to fix legal immigration should be our leaders’ priority, and immigration reform being one of the bipartisan issues, strong support is always required to provide solutions. At the event, I observed that legal immigration family problems are already known to the top high authorities today, especially documented dreamers, Green Card backlog, and more.
