MILPITAS, CA: Star Entertainment presented a grand musical tribute to top Bollywood Khans with live band Melody Maker on Friday October 16 at India Community Center Milpitas, CA

The glittering musical night with packed audience included a red carpet, Khan Style Motorbike with Star Entertainment banner in photo shoot booth, an open bar and sumptuous dinner by Park Balluchi of Mountain View.

Versatile singer Vikas Singh, voice of Tamil Nadu Geetesh Iyer, SRGM fame Puja Purandare, Anuja Surlaker and teen aged guest singer from Boston Akila Narayanan set the stage on fire right from the beginning.

The program started with special musical tribute to the original Khan – Dilip Kumar (Yusuf Khan). Then followed Feroz Khan and next were the current Bollywood Khans: Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh and Saif Ali. Singers and Melody Makers presented their songs with the visual slide presentation effects including singing medley numbers along with Dhamaka style DJ.

The Khan songs ranged from their popular movie numbers starting from 1990 of “Papa Kahte Hain” to the latest numbers of “Malang Malang” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”

The theme related Bollywood dances numbers Dola Re Dola Re, Mayni Mayni, and Darde Disco by Russian native dancers Elena Elsoukov and Natika of Natika Dance also thrilled the audience.

The emcee of the evening was Sunny Moza and the sound system with the DJ was organized by Adil Maharaj of Pacific Sounds. Colorful decoration was provided by Eve Décor
