CHICAGO: Hina Trivedi, a front ranking activist in the Indian American community here, has added one more feather in her growing cap of achievements on being elected as President of one of the oldest ethnic organizations, Gujarati Pragati Mandal for the year 2018-2019
Hina has been actively associated with Lion Club and GOPIO and had headed Federation of Indian Associations three years ago. In a talk with this paper, she said that among her foremost tasks would be to have all Guajarati cultural organizations unite for their activities under one banner and the second, to get the second generation youth to get more and more involved in her organization to give a fresh impetus. The Mandal has 1200 plus members. Many of them are involved in different businesses which have been functioning since last eighties.
